Josh May and Dave Hill met as finance students at Tennessee Tech, burning the midnight oil over textbooks and exams. But their real passion was building something of their own - something that honored craftsmanship, service, & American heritage.

Josh, a proud Navy veteran & Military family; and Dave, from a family with an Aunt in the Navy, cousins in the Marines, and a Great-Grandfather who was a Bomber Pilot back in WW2, founded Freedom Laser Werks with a simple mission: to create handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pieces while supporting veterans who helped make this country great.

With a commitment to American-made materials and veteran employment, every wood item we create tells a story—one of tradition, craftsmanship, and freedom.

Proudly crafted. Proudly American.

Handmade in the USA

We aim to hire military veterans and source our material from American materials as much as possible.

We are located out of the Middle Tennessee area.
